I've noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't create the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's simple to set up and performs well however this is something that you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and [Redirect-302] housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.

The base comes with a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot vacuum best or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

While this was rare however, it was a gruelling experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert on its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern, sleek base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, ecuadortenisclub.com and a welcome view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
