WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random substat is also added to each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the Best item upgrade being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of button, which displays an image of the item at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item upgrader mod and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves.
