Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as a weapon, armor or rings. The Best item upgrader is replaced by another item upgrades of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrader kit to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Leveling

The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to Upgrade item an item vary depending on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item upgrader mod, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will put an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
