WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will display an image of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current level of the item level upgrade as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade item for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. For instance, it's Best item upgrader to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the Best item upgrade equipment you have, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning on making. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
