WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. It's also crucial to choose crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to benefit from the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
