WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.
