Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The statistics of an item are improved by upgrading it, also known as "upping". Each upgrade increment results in an increase in linearity of a given stat.

Players can recycle six items at once to get a gauge of each item's upgraded component. The cost of recycling an item increases with its rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats of your armor and weapons.
