WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item level Upgrade will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgrader mod upgraders in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will show an image of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item upgrader kit slot and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers, for instance.
