It's fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as impressive. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the automatic vacuum cleaner and mop. It is easy to install and works well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes you must pay attention to this.

It's a big change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
