INCubatoredu gives students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a real way while they develop their own business startup. Every class is assisted by a mentor or coach to guide student teams through the program and assist with tasks related to washable feet insoles, or social applications; Students are given ample opportunity to experiment with ideas, while employing lean management principles.

While student teams go through the program students learn to improve the ideas of their startups through customer and idea exploration as well as market research, developing prototypes, pitching and building. This program helps improve cooperation and problem-solving skills and teaches students how to quickly adapt to changes.

Each team competes to win funding during the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which occurs every year. This event is known as a shark tank-style contest which provides great chances for teams to connect with investors.
