If you're on a tight budget and don't require a stroller that doubles up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than the majority of other strollers of a similar price we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools.
