If you're looking to save money and don't want a stroller that can double as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push and it is solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation for being the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to move however, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller like a large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban single travel stroller system. It is designed to take babies from birth to around 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot in just only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction and can also rotate. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel on our walk along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem slightly rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also manufacture a vast range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds up small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than the other strollers we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other prams' hoods which get turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has a number of distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and filled with foam which minimizes punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that eases the pain of rough terrain. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transport down the stairs, or in the car's boot. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to include a car seat or carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are simple to use, using a single wheel stroller, colour coded and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single pro stroller pushchair that is budget-friendly is extremely easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in many positions and has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face each other or rotate around to face parents, theoretically reducing sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can get for your child and offers great safety features like five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type used on rival models.

The seat is well padded and provides a wide area to sit. However, the seat depth is less than that of other joggers (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold 10 lbs. It is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as it comes, but you can use it right from the start with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
