WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades are items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and accessories. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists.
