WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade item increases the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for the latter because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the item upgrades being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of button, which will display an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. It's also crucial to choose crests with care, since they are only used for one purpose. For instance it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best equipment you have and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly relevant for items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
