You should also keep the filters and dust bin clean to prevent them from getting blocked. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is low it goes back to its docking station, automatically empties its debris into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half continuous use. It takes around three hours to fully recharge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. -- the most important feature of all -- it has an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba I7+ can make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot using voice or via the app.

In our tests, the i7+ was quicker and more maneuverable than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surface kinds, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying that removes a major source of maintenance and reduces recurring costs.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot vacuum cleaner on sale to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected, we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." 3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car in a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, but also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.

The V10 is powered with seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries that can provide power that is not fading for 60 minutes.
