World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to increase an item's gear score up to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For instance the perfect roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't change much after an upgrade, and aren't worth the cost.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. Additionally there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a unit. In some instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. This is usually a positive thing, but it can also have negative effects. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

The ability to upgrade armor items to improve their effectiveness. For instance, if you have chests or helms this will increase its defense base while a belt and gloves will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats it will gain when upgraded, along with their relative values. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will be hit 3 times less often, since it is an absolute statistic.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button within the item menu with the arrows that circle. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's level or bind it to account status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poison, fire, and magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you will get from each point of health you possess therefore it is important to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total, and each requires you to complete a special side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the primary side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds, you can then speak to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade the next one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold environments and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a few friends.

You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior, you should focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing by the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can unlock some perks on your armor. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Item upgrades Warhammer However, it is useful to have a few improvements to the chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, provide an immediate effect for Item upgrades a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. Alternatively the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them on a crafting table or in the chest of the Alchemist. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion and the item upgrader kit's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it won't degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it is stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

There were a few changes to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For example, splash potions now have the duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item upgrade). The table for potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. The same is true for the use of a potion in a cauldron that is full. This will draw out the potion and refill the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The table of potions is organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping, the decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but isn't important such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade a player for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the old trinket but it also comes with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded when they are no longer needed which allows a player to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are an attractive alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries and then other gear items that will not be replaced soon (for example rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and chest.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl after they no longer have value and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade is likely to cause the trinket to be destroyed in the event that it is not salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, however it is still cheaper than purchasing a new one.
