WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the item upgrading level by +3. A random substat is also increased with each upgrade item.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade items their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with the help of button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the Item level upgrade and current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currencies.

Crests

This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level for all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they have only one purpose. For instance it's best to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the best equipment you have, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for [Redirect Only] the next batch of upgrades you're planning to create. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character that will be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
