Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of different flooring. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior Best Robot Vacuum and Mop to each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. The robot vacuums with mop vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

The robot is simple to set up and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished whenever needed. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.

Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best automatic vacuum cleaner mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device.
