Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry and wet messes in one go and without the need to switch devices. They also can save space in comparison to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.

A good robot vacuum combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin, refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads from an appropriate dock.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's one of the simplest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you up and running with a clean, complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time at all.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. Its mops spin at high speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, as well as a selection of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.

The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. You can view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is clearly laid out and easily understood however we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's most popular robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to remove finer hairs and other debris other best robotic mop and vacuum cleaners might miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its direction automatically and clean the objects without missing a step.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek, angular design is striking, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, robots That vacuum And Mop which resumes the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin auto-filling.

The only issue I have discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) however, it's a hassle to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mount, which can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track the life of batteries and maintenance on components. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its innovative design lets you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful choices available. The app is intuitive and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to clean and robots that Vacuum and mop has many convenient features, making it a great choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin, and clean mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available however, it comes with numerous extra features that set it apart. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature of its mop, utilizes two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.

The mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and could be a great method to keep your home cleaner for longer.

There's an impressive amount of settings on offer that include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. They can be set through the app, or via buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with many features that aren't offered on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on the market, with metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and it is sturdy and well-built. Mopping is well designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
