This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It is also able to reach all corners of my small apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your home which allows it to know where not to go. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room of your home.

Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to invest more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features it is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains more quickly than other models we test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads without causing your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for people who live in tiny spaces. It's extremely fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't connected to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
