World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade of an item lets players increase the gear rating of an item up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a unit. In certain instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of their base. While this is generally an excellent thing but it can also have negative effects as well. For items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you get a lucky roll.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their performance. This will increase the base defense of a helm or chest, while belts and gloves will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it can sometimes reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats that it will gain after upgrading, as well as the values of these stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button in the item menu with the arrows that are circling. This will roll the item and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survival. Certain sets can offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to traverse difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, go to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and to unlock them all, you must complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've done the main side quest and completed the fountain in question you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. You'll require anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded to +20 defense, which means you're able to withstand a rout with your comrades.

You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is Best item upgrader to focus on upgrading your armor for physical strength or the power of spells. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few upgrades to your chest armor and helmets to allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed provide the user with the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. Additionally the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust to them.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by crafting them using a craft table or the chest of the Alchemist. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions, right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI that lets you select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion is upgraded, it won't degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change the name of the potion.

There were some changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item). The table of potion now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be mixed in cauldrons. This is the same for using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will deplete the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying a new one. It is possible to upgrade players for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as old one, and will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Once the old Trinkets are not usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the Best item upgrader-in slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing in the near future (such as a ring or an cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when selecting the items to upgrade. However, a re-upgrade can destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than purchasing the new one.
