Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

The robot is simple to setup and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by defining a virtual boundary in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin over obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.

The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy for both novice and robotic Cleaner and mop experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic hoover emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic vacuum cleaner refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums cannot. This device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction when needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
