Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade item costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and upgrade items gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item level upgrade. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased by Karma merchants, upgrade items or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.

There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used with any kind of equipment. They also offer smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enrichments are utilized for certain ascended back items. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item upgrader, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters along with standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in primary stats. It also comes with up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the area is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses when certain conditions are satisfied.

Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option under "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of acquiring a character or weapon you want. This can aid in your progress to higher levels or to get more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your current character. Many players play until the character they want is available, regardless of its ability. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.
