Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and was able to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop is an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.

This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty good as well, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

robot vacuum best vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris but they're not able to get every speck of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.

The Q5 is one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. It also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot vacuum that vacuums and mops can also recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
