Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Find models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean up the stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum cleaner vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rugs.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one best robotic mop and vacuum vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.

The robot is simple to set up and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots that vacuum and mop struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can result in missing spots.

The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and debris but it's not always able to reach every last piece of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot vacuum that vacuums and mops that both vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into places that other vacuums cannot reach. It also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
