The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the all the features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range, including Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and it has many options for customizing. It will also send notifications when the door is unlocked and when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be great it GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to choose the amount of cups they wish to disperse. The fridge displays a countdown to show you how much water is left, but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Designed to look as a seamless element of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer, and two compressors for preserving food. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and makes pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is a great choice for single household or kitchenettes that want an integrated french door fridge freezer uk look and top of the line food preservation.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. They have sunken handles on the front, which allow smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Fridge Price Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a basic refrigerator which may not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make a suitable choice. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer which helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser and a decent ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located over the two crisper bins, is another great feature. This drawer lets you divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, which means you can keep food items that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling setting for the whole fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.

In my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a pretty good performance however it doesn't make it into the top ten in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
